People react differently to sugar. Some can eat it without issues, while others feel bloated, hungry, and crave more sweets. Sugar doesn't provide long-term energy, support goals, or help with cravings. The natural sugar found in fruits, vegetables, and dairy is different from added sugar in snacks, sauces, and drinks. Many people feel stuck because they don't realize how much added sugar they consume. Some people handle sugar fine, others not so much. Everybody's body reacts differently to sugar. Now some folks can eat a slice of cake, move on with their day, no problem. Others are feeling bloated, they're still hungry, and they're already thinking about the next sweet thing they could eat. So no, I'm not here to say that sugar is evil, once again, but it also doesn't do much for you. It doesn't boost your energy long term, it doesn't support your goals, and it definitely doesn't help your cravings. It gives you a quick fix, but that's it, because that craving will show right back up. The sugar you find in fruit, veggies, dairy, that's a different conversation, but the added sugar we see in snacks, sauces, and our favorite drinks, that's where people start to feel stuck, especially when they don't know or even realize how much they're getting.
