Liberty fears being judged by her church and parents if she opens up about her feelings. She reflects on her past attempts to express her confusion to her parents, who believed she was possessed by a demon. Despite her struggles, Liberty finds hope in a Bible given to her by her grandmother, which tells her that God loves her no matter what.
