The speaker created a diagram of a library to show how everything is well-placed. The library has a main area with staff, information desk, self-checkouts, and community seating. There are separate areas for teens, children, and adults, with a maker space in the main area. The library also has study rooms and seating for quiet reading. The community room, bookstore, and history room are separate from the main library. Overall, the library is well-designed and organized. I created an agency diagram of the library to showcase how they have placed everything very well within the library, and it has created a great way to show the flow of how you come in to the first area of a main area with the staff, the information desk, the passport, as well as the self-checkouts, and then community seating right there where you can sit and set up if you need to as a family or group, but then you could also go off into your different areas where you have the teens are far away from the children, but you have the adults right there between the two, and it's great that they have the maker space right there in that main area so that everyone can see it and access it as needed. They've also created a great way to move everything and have a great space for events in the children's area or in that main adult and community area. There is seating in the back in both the teen and adult section for those that want to maybe get to a quieter space to read and have some comfort there, but they also have the study rooms right there in the main area for all to use, and it just is a great space and use of space as far as I can tell not being able to visit it in person, and I like that the community room is not inside the main library as well as the bookstore or the history room. Those are all separate areas that you can go and use away from the library in case maybe there isn't an event going on or other things that might be a little noisier than you would like. So overall they've done a great job in the way that they have placed everything inside this library.
