I am an empowerment strategist. I want to help people heal themselves from the inside out. I want to help people who feel like they lost their power somewhere. I want to help them find it and take it back. I've been on this healing journey for a long time. Sometimes it seems like forever. Sometimes it feels like I just started. Sometimes it feels like I have learned so much. Sometimes it feels like I'm right at the very beginning. It's the nature of the beast, I think. We all have so much to learn and I feel like it's a fun journey to be on. I'm going to call it more of a process than a journey because I think journeys imply that there's an end. As we all know, there is no end to this. I recently hosted a summit called The Power of Choosing You. Thank you all who showed up and attended. It really showcased that I have a lot to say. It showcased that I have an audience that is willing to listen. It showcased that people can learn from my journey. Sometimes learning from other people's journeys might be learning what you don't want to do. I feel like that's 100% process too, right? This podcast is going to be my journey. Tips and tricks on what I do, on how I do it, on how I feel about certain things, on who I am, where it comes from, core wounds, which is so huge. It's so huge. Sometimes just learning the bits of your core wounds and what they are kind of just gives you like, Oh, okay, so this is my core wound. How can I not continually add to my core wound? One core wound that I feel like most people have, especially maybe women my age, my sister and I both have it, is not feeling good enough. I think sometimes when you don't feel good enough, you will choose things in your life that continually make you feel like you're not good enough. I have done it. I've made millions and millions of mistakes. Learning how to forgive myself, that's going to be on here because that's so hard. I'm still struggling with that sometimes. Between shame and self-forgiveness, those two things are two of my giant hurdles. I'm working my way up. Maybe they're not hurdles. Maybe they're hills. Maybe they're mountains. I'm working my way up so I can come back down. Then I'll find some more hills to climb because there's never ever going to be a stopping process for my journey, my process. Things that help. Unconditional love. Finding a tribe of people who unconditionally love you. Actually, the first thing I had to do with the tribe is I did find a tribe, but I was made aware of the tribe that I already have. I don't think I gave my tribe enough credit, enough appreciation. I still appreciate them and they're still my tribe and I love them very much. But I got more people in my tribe and then the more I learn about myself and the more comfortable I get talking about things like this, the bigger my tribe gets, which I think is really, really awesome. I will showcase a lot of things I have tried that have failed. I feel like that's huge too because that doesn't mean I should give up. I'm not sure sometimes. I know for a fact that sometimes I just want to give up. Less now. I don't want to give up now. I'm on such a high with happiness and life and appreciation and all that stuff. I haven't had that feeling of giving up in a long, long time. I don't mean like suicide or anything like that, giving up. Sometimes you're just living your life in the mundane and we don't really have to do that. I'm going to be here to show you how. I am on social media. I have an Instagram page called Vitality with Vesta or just Vesta Hurlbut. Whatever you want to do, reach out. I'm here. If you have topics you want to discuss, I would love to. If you want to be on my podcast, I would love to interview you. Thank you so much for listening. Stay tuned for more. I love you all and I mean it.
