The audience is asked to share their thoughts on time management. The next episode will be about professional emails. Hello guys, welcome back to I Have a Question, the number one podcast in the world. Stay tuned. In this episode, we're going to be talking about professionalism. Just kidding, we're not talking about professionalism, we're talking about managing your time. And I'm going to manage my time very well in this podcast. So let's dive straight into it. So something I want, an idea I want to start off with today is why is it important to manage your time? So a couple of my viewers commented below that if you don't manage your time, it will manage you. And that is so true. And that would not be good because then that shows that you aren't capable of disciplining yourself to get important tasks done first. Guys, managing your time is super important. Two important things about managing your time is prioritization and discipline. Prioritization means like, why am I doing this? Like, is this very important that I need to do right now? Or is it like, not that important I can hold off till later. And discipline is like actually doing the thing and doing it consistently and doing it well. So, you know, one of the ways I like to plan out my day and what I need to do is with a schedule, a physical planner. And that helps a lot because I know what I need to do that day and I don't always get it all done. But I'll usually get the most important things done because, you know, you got to get stuff done every day. There's, there's no, there's no day that you should go with not trying to do anything. It's important to, to do good things every day. Maybe some days you'll do it, you'll do more than others, but as long as you're trying your best to get those things done, that's what, that's what matters. And so some of the things I'd like to share from what I learned about time management was that procrastination is, is the enemy here. Procrastination occurs because of poor time management and lack of motivation, sometimes inability to concentrate on work. It can even be fixation on negative thoughts and sometimes be related to fear of success and failure. So, be, be, be on the lookout for those things. Try to, try to practice good time management by just getting rid of your distractions and taking action, breaking down your, your, your tasks into what, what can I do today? What can I do tomorrow? What can I do the day after that? And also don't forget to reward yourself and also be generous to yourself. Something I'm not good at is being generous to myself when it comes to, to, to, to getting work done. And sometimes I'm not good at forgiving myself for not getting work done. So definitely need to work on that myself, but comment down below, what do you guys think about time management? Why, why is it important? Why, why do we need to work on it? Why, why is it such a highly valued skill nowadays? I hope you guys liked this episode and stay tuned for next episode where we'll talk about professional emails. So I'll see you later, alligator.
