Nothing to say, yet
Dr. Faye discusses the worries and anxieties many people have about the future. She reminds listeners that Jesus taught not to worry and that God is in control. She emphasizes that God knew about the pandemic and that life has changed forever. Dr. Faye encourages listeners to remember to breathe and to read the Bible to find guidance and transformation. She concludes by reminding listeners to activate God's presence in their everyday lives. Welcome to Faith Alive in 5, the 5-minute gospel. Now here's your host, Dr. Faye. Like you, many people are wondering what's next. Some are wondering in fear, some are wondering in anxiety and worry about the future. Jesus said in Matthew 6 to take no thought for our lives. And he said it three times. Translation for today's marketplace and language is, don't worry, don't worry. Oh, why are you stressing? Why are you stressing out? Because he's saying to us, I've got this and I've got you. Now on the outside it appears that maybe God's not engaged, maybe God's not aware, maybe God's not the boss. But I assure you, according to Scripture, Genesis 1 and 1 is true. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now he didn't do that just because he was bored. He did that purposefully with the full intention and with a commitment to see it through. You see, God never begins what he hasn't already ended. He's already seen the end from the beginning. God knew the outcome. Man may have been surprised of his fall, but God already knew the outcome and he made a provision for that. God already knew that there was going to be a pandemic before I was ever born, before you were ever thought of. He already knew that there was going to be a rebirth. There was going to be a place where each human being had to come to the realization that life has completely and absolutely changed forever and that it will no longer be the same as it was. In 2019, we celebrated the new year for 2020. We were in great expectation for what was coming ahead, what would be ahead of us. But it soon turned from being a great expectation for hopes and dreams to the fear of people dying because people were dying in masses. And it took us to a place where many people are still scrambling in their mental and emotional bodies trying to forget that it happened. Ladies and gentlemen, we cannot forget it. Our goal is to learn from it. What has happened to the human race? What has happened to so many people where there is chaos and confusion internally, unlike anything that you may have struggled with before? And you're wondering what happened to those people? What's happening to you? How do you manage your life right now? As I said in a previous broadcast or talk, that first step, first things first, remember to breathe. That that's God's breath within you. The next thing you want to do is to pick up the book again. Pick up your Bible, even if you're using the app. I am a book person. I like the book. I will use my app if I'm waiting for an appointment or on a flight or whatever, but I like reading my book. It's just something about that connectedness, the brain, spirit, mind, soul, body connectedness with the physical book. Open it up and begin to read. And as you begin to read, God will begin to speak to you from the Bible. Don't be one of those people out there looking up saying, hey God talk to me. Don't do that. Don't do that. Anything will talk to you. Start reading the Bible and let his word begin to be poured into you. Because in that Bible there are some golden nuggets. Oh yes, I know not everything about God is written there, but there's some gold in there. And the little gold that you can get from that will transform your life. Remember to breathe and that's God's breath breathing through you. And as you're breathing God's breath and becoming more aware of God breathing through you, God's presence residence within you, you will begin to activate the presence of God in your everyday waking, walking, talking life. And read your Bible and as you read it aloud, I encourage people read it aloud, read it aloud. As you read it aloud, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. It's going back into your ear, into your spirit, and it's activating your directions for your everyday life. I'm Dr. Faye, your pastor coach, and this is Faith Aloud in Five, the five-minute gospel.
