Nothing to say, yet
The group is split up at the carnival. Meera and Nialdi are at the Mystery Mine, X and Haven are at the Dragonfly Ride, Zeke and Raven are unsure of where to go next. They are given a task to roll a d20, with some members having advantage and others disadvantage. Ezekiel caught a strange birdman who planned to break into the staff area. Mr. Light appears and offers a hint in exchange for holding his scepter. The group declines and Mr. Light changes their position in line. They discuss opening a box at the carousel, but it's unclear if they will actually open it. So we're not meeting up yet? No, it seems not. As for where all of you are right now, Meera and Nialdi, you guys told me you were heading to the Mystery Mine. Um... X and Haven are still at the Dragonfly Ride. You were just yelling at Northwind, our sweet tree boy, who seems unbothered by everything that you're yelling at him about. And you noticed that a lot of people were kind of staring at you as you were doing that. And... Haven and Zeke, you guys were heading to... Where were you guys going? Sorry. We're not going anywhere. You guys had just left the carousel, that's correct. Oh, hello, Kevin. You guys had just left the carousel, and we're trying to figure out what to do next. So, for starters, before we start with whoever we're going to start with, everyone go ahead and roll me a d20. Um... Couple stipulations, okay, yep, everyone can go ahead and rip it. Based on my notes, Zeke and Raven, you guys can roll with advantage. You guys can roll with advantageousness. Um, Meali and Haven, you guys are going to roll with disadvantage. And... X and Mira are going to roll flat. Two, eh? Okay. Maybe. Two. Alright, you have advantage. Okay. Rapid fire. Fourteen. I got seven. Okay. Nine. Okay. Okay. Fantastic. X got an 11. That sucks, guys. Fourteen was the highest out of that bunch. I rolled with 17, but... Yeah, that sucks. Um... Okay, cool, thanks. Yeah, probably. Probably right. Oh, and the last thing I forgot to remind you about, Ezekiel, is you caught a strange little birdman who seemed to be disrupting the carnival, and he told you that his plan was to distract the carnival owners and the workers so that he could break into the staff area for an unspecified reason other than that he's left the only place he's never been. Also, Ringo is in the wind. That's probably an important detail. I have a question about that. I was shouting at some people, and they weren't hearing themselves. Were they even able to hear me at all? I was, like, yelling. There's, like, a lot of people going on. Yeah, there's, like, rides and sounds and music and stuff going on. It's not just, like, 20 people at this carnival. Um, okay. Which, uh... Which fun little pear wants to start? You want to start? Let's go to Fairyland. We're not. We're in the party line. We got in the bubble next to Fairyland. There was a shimmer at Fairyland. There was also shimmer at Mystery Mine. Okay, where are you guys going? It's kind of irrelevant. You guys did take bubbles that popped you over the top, like, right outside of the Mystery Mine. But, uh... Up to you guys. You're kind of skeptical about Fairyland either way. Oh, you have to go to Shimmer? Go to Shimmer. Alright, come on. We're here. We landed. Okay, fantastic. Instantly? Yeah. Do I see any of these butterfly staff workers? Yeah, 100%. There is, like, a line of people. Okay, you give one to... You give a flower to this guy? Okay, you can tell me what he looks like if you want. Um, he... His mustache is the most prominent. He just has, like, this massive handlebar mustache. It's, like, bushy. It, like, goes past his jaw. He looks like Doug Dimmadome, Dimmsdale Dimmadome. Yeah. He looks like Lorax. This boy built, like, the Lorax. That's what he looks like. Okay. Yeah, he's actually a gnome. Okay, a gnome with Lorax features. Noted. Can I give him a flower? Yeah, he, uh, he just looks at you and he, like, just takes it. It doesn't say anything and just pulls back the, uh, the little, uh, whatever the fuck to, like, let you guys in to the line. Um, on the outside, you see that there is... It looks like you're walking up to, like, where you would get on a roller coaster, and the track disappears into this little tunnel. You don't see anywhere where it goes. It is just, like, an archway that the coaster seems to be running into. And then, coming out of the other side, where there's just another archway next to it, there's a track that comes out. So it's basically, like, this little half-U shape. The cars are, like, stopping. People are getting off. People are getting on. It's just disappearing into these archways. You can kinda see it on the map a little bit. If you look at where it is. Yeah. Um, this guy opens this little thing. And then, suddenly, from behind you, you hear somebody clear their throat. You hear an HOO-HOO! From behind you. Like... Um, you turn around, and you see the person who had introduced themselves as Mr. Light. The person who had done the big opening number, and kind of kicked off the beginning of the carnival. Again, just to show you, is this man. Yeah, super flamboyant. He's got this scepter that has these butterfly wings on it. And he clears his throat, and you turn around. And he just, like, immediately drops into this, like, super, like, deep bow. And just, like... Okay, you turn back around, and then he is, like, without a beat, he is in front of you. And you see him, like, pop up right in front of you. Like, disappear. Um, and he's still, like, deep in his bow. Just, like, holding the bow. Um, I don't think cut-scenes are allowed. No cut-scenes here! Taking you straight to the front of the line! Because, uh, we've got a great competitor here. Seems like you are enjoying yourselves tonight. And I appreciate that. I really do. It means a lot to us. Here. You see, there's, like, maybe, like, like, four people in front of you. The line is not long at all. Um... Oh, do you know the guy from the, uh, the, uh, the opening scene? He's, like, looking at you, and he's, like, yeah, uh-huh, yeah. So it's good to meet a fan! Oh, not for a competitor! Not for someone like yourself! Yeah. And he, like, licks the back of your face to get something off of it. In, like, a really sexy way. Um... Oh, don't mind them! They're just, uh... They're just the folks swaying in the background, as it were. You, uh... You're special, you're competing, you're... looking to win, yes? He's got these super wide, like, crazy eyes. And he's, like, looking back and forth. And he looks at you and he says, Well, I'll tell you! Not gonna get much in there quite yet! Oh, it might be! It might be! How bad do you want to win? Oh, yes, I can tell! It's so good! No, no, no, first! The price for the hint! Right. I'll pretend I didn't hear that. First, my, uh... My hint, of course. Won't cost you much, of course. Just tell me, what, uh... Oh, it's quite simple. Just, uh... Just hold this for me. And he reaches out and he, like, goes to, like, hand you his scepter. No, it's like a little scepter. It's like this, um... golden red... Yeah, it's this thing that he's holding. Yeah, it's like a little butterfly wing, like, uh... Well, he says, just hold this for me. Sure. Go kick! Ooh, 193. He is, like, very... With a 23, he is, like, super eager for you to hold this. He is, like... You see, like, an eye of... Um, not necessarily. You see, you can tell, like, very clearly, like, he is extremely giddy to, like, see what happens. And you can tell, like, his... His... He's being genuine in the sense of, like, he's super ready to give you a hint. And... That's pretty much all you're gonna get. He looks at you and says... Um, you see him, like, holding a scepter, and you actually see it, like, spin, like the butterfly on the top just, like, rotates a little bit. And he says, I can tell you're not having the best time. What can we do to change that? What can we do for you? Tell us what you need, what you want. You can perfectly wait in line. That's really, like, nothing to do with any of this. Is she always like this? I mean, it's not very fun, you know? I'm very carefree. You know? I wish I could get some of that energy from her, you know? Like, fully just talking in front of you. Like, you can hear everything You can hear everything. You see his, like, Joker grin, like, turn into, like, a very exaggerated, like, frown, and he looks back at you all and says, So you don't want my help, huh? Cheer up, Mr. Light. Have some fun. That's so good. He, you see, I'll let your insight check ride. You see, like, um, you see his eyes, like, flash for a second. When he frowned or when I said that? Like, when you say that. Like, his eyes are like a normal, kind of, like, just brown color. You see them turn, like, a bright yellow for a second. And he looks at you and he says, Fair enough. On to more exciting books, I guess. And, um, he just kind of, like, twirls around and you just see this, like, almost, like, fabric, like, swirling, like this bright red fabric. Um, and it kind of, like, blocks your guys' vision for a second and encapsulates you. And then you're standing at the back of the line and there's easily, like, 60 people in front of you guys. Um, as you guys, uh, begin your wait in line for the mystery line. Well. Do you like jazz? Um. Just that. Who wants to go next? Let's do it. Are you being serious that it is an option to open this box? Or do you like the box? Don't open the box. But if you, at a certain point, are like, I want to open this box, you can let me know. And we'll see what happens. I want to open the box? I'm going to open the box and try to get to the table. I mean, if you guys want to open the box, like, just, just, like, let a, just, like, let a guy know. If you open the... No, there's not. But if you, the player, is so desperate to open the box, like, we're just going to let that thing ride, you know? Whatever happens, happens. Am I right? We're on hour two. Let's see what happens. Guys, come on. Hour 12, we've got the big topic. Extravaganza. Okay, okay. Open the box of the extravaganza. I'm not even with me. Um. What? Um. Do you guys want to go? Okay. You guys are at the carousel. These adventurers just ran away from you with a horn as well. You assume. Since one is missing. And there is... I mean, they're, like, we're, like, moments after that, probably. Kind of doing this in bullet time. And there is the, like, centaur lady who told you she's not a real centaur. Because she got fused with her horse. Um. You found something in the lake that was this, like, gold bar with a bunch of symbols on it, but there's nothing on this horn key. Horn key is almost like horny. Am I right? No? Cool. Yeah, she was also seemingly not having a good time when you spoke to her. Um, when you guys were, like, questioning her about the... I'll just repeat this because you guys already know this. Or at least you characters do. She had told you that the, um, the challenges and stuff change. It wasn't that she couldn't tell you, it was that whatever... whatever... No, that was the mime guy. Who, like, doesn't have a voice. She was telling you, like, you had asked her about, like, what's going on here and, like, what the competition is and she had told you that the challenges, like, change and stuff, so... It doesn't have, like, a real answer for you. But she's still here. She is, like, uh... She's, like, booting up the carousel for another group of folks that are probably like, waiting for the ride to end. Okay, let's try her. Let's try her. What's her name? It was Diana Cloppington. Oh, yeah? Yeah, why would you forget? I will... I will approach her. Yeah, she's, like, uh... She's, like, powering down the ride as people are, like, shuffling on and a bunch of people are just, like, getting up on the horses. You see, like, probably, like, a group of people that are kind of, like, checking things out, like, kind of investigating stuff, but there are, like, a dozen people that are just, like, sitting on the horses, just, like... Just, like, waiting for them to turn on the ride. Okay. And she is just kind of waiting and, like, like, watch your step, watch your step, as people are kind of going up. And she's just kind of standing at, like, the lever. You know the lever. I'll walk up to her and just leave her. Yeah. Um... I'll just sort of hold this one off. No, it's not... Hey, I got this thing up in here! Look what it does! Hey, everybody, go check out the list. Um... Hey, uh... Diane, Diane... Diane... Um... I don't suppose you, uh... know what's up with this thing over here? Did you, like, specifically... Um... She just looks at you, and she just kind of cocks her head, and she's like, I can tell you that last... last night, those horns didn't screw off of those horses. She just, like, sighs, and she's like, unfortunately not. Are you following me? I think, like, people are, like, filing on, and she just, like, flips the switch and starts going, as the, like, carousel starts to power up. Is it asking her for any, uh, hints? She just kind of, like, looks around, like, now, like, the carousel's, like, full spinning up, she, like, looks around, and you see her, like, watch, uh, like, three of those, like, group of people wearing those, like, worker butterfly wings walk by, and she just kind of takes a beat, and once they're gone, she looks at you guys and says, well, every, um, every night, it's always just... it's always just... some sort of gimmick. You gotta find something to get into something, to get the other thing, usually a couple steps, just to kind of keep people running around all night. That's the whole point, is to make it hard and keep people here, as far as I know. Can't even tell you how long I've been here. Thank you. Yes. Um, hey, listen, Diane, if we, uh, if we get our hands on that, we'll come back for you. Yes. She just kind of smiles at you, and she's like, we'll see. She knows you're out, we'll come back. I can't lie. Um, all right. Good luck, uh, Horst, uh, Kloppington. I'm Diane Kloppington. Uh, cool. Where should we go now? Do you know where we're going? Um... I'm sorry, Klopp. You can go in the direction that those people ran in. We'll go in the direction that those other folks started running in. Okay. Is that, like, in the direction of another attraction that we would know? Yeah. Yeah, you see them take off, and they seem to be running, uh, kind of towards, back over towards the, the, like, lake area that you guys had come from. That's actually not right. Oh. Um... So the lake has silver swan lake and gondola swan lake. Is that a gondola swan lake? What's a gondola lake then? It's like a boat. Is it like a paddle boat? Is it like a paddle boat? You don't know. Y'all haven't been there. Maybe, who knows. I guess we just have to, like, figure it out when we get there. Let's try the gondola swans. We're gonna go to the gondola swans. Oh, I mean, you guys are just chasing after these, like, people that they went... Yeah. Okay. You guys, uh, head that way, and I think you can probably catch them. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay, what do you have to do? Mr. Light is a delight. Absolutely. He's so much... Huh? The other guy? Mr. Witch. Less fun. But he keeps things on track. Usually don't unless there's a problem. You see, Mr... She looks around for no reason because you guys are in the middle of a fucking misty gondola ride on the river, and she looks around for no reason and says Mr. Light kind of keeps the energy going. He keeps the competition. He runs all of that. Mr. Witch kind of takes care of the behind the scenes as it were. Makes sure that nothing interferes with the evening. Best not to get on either of their bad sides though. Absolutely. Absolutely. Roll the poison check. That's a three. She looks at you and she says Well, they're very different. What they do is different. How they approach things is different. Let's just say that depending on how the evening goes usually one of them ends up running things. If that's what you prefer. I like to keep things light, so I'm probably Mr. Light. And she tackles about it. Do you guys have any more specific questions for her? Are you guys doing anything else in particular as you are taking this gondola around the perimeter? It is just going around the perimeter of the carnival. You are riding the little lazy river around, and it's moving pretty slow, but you guys are on the ride now. Mr. Witch? Oh, Burly. Burly is the security guard with the bump down his head, the bugbear. She said that he guards the staff area, but he really likes to drink. She says she likes to drink too, but she's a swan, so she can't exactly get it. Tux is stuck. Tux is stuck. You guys are in the middle of this river, kind of riding this. What are we near right now? You're just kind of lazily going around. You're probably... You guys started right here. You guys probably go behind the orchard in this mist, and at a certain point you come around and you can see the dragonfly right in front of you. You've been on here for a decent amount of time, though. I will say, just to kind of emphasize this, she gets to the dragonfly stuff, but she gives it a wide berth. You guys aren't close to the shore. There's no point for you to jump off onto the shore. I stole that bottle of wine from my parents. You literally did. Was that her battleaxe? I actually don't believe it. I think we're just sitting, relaxing on the ride for a minute. You guys have probably been on here for 15 minutes. It's going pretty slow. I think Zeke remembers that he has the gun. He goes around for it. It's there. It's there? Thank god. It says it to me. You said you fancy yourself a drink, but you just don't get the opportunity too often. That barely brings me down, does it? I do have something on the finer end of things. How fine? Fine as wine? Finer than that, Feathery. The finest wine you may have ever tasted. Like a red? Like a general red? Yeah, like a red. I'm not picky. It's like a It's something about, it's like a Zinfandel. Zinfandel, sure. I pop, I get it out. Pop it out? Pop it up? Rip it down? I take my bottle of wine. I'm not going to make you roll to open this bottle of wine. You got magic, dog. I don't even know how I would. I cast Tinkers on this bottle of wine. On the tip, and the cork shoots out perfectly into the You hear like a boop as it splashes into the water. Does it float? No. No, it just sinks. My fucking mouth. I'm trying to give her some wine and just pour it in her fucking mouth. She's got this long ass fucking swan neck that is like moving all around. Yeah, no. I'll make it easy on you. She just fucking brings her head around and puts it upside down and just fucking opens up. You don't want to smell first, Feathery. Uh-uh. She's an alcoholic. Yeah. I just pour it in her mouth. Probably for like half the bottle. She's just taking these deep, deep swigs. The best way to enjoy a fine wine. Yeah, I put like half the bottle. When you are pouring this into her mouth and you're looking into her mouth, you can see that there are also like teeth in here. Don't swans fucking have teeth? They have some sort of emulsifying grind up food, but these are a little too sharp for that. It's like throat teeth. Like a spiral going all the way down. Remember the end of Pirates of the Caribbean 2? Dead Man's Chest? With Kraken? Oh yeah, really? You just notice a couple rows of these teeth. I love those fucking movies, dude. The first three movies are so good, and then I don't know what happens. Um... Yeah, okay, freaked out by that. Yeah, you noticed. How's she tasting, Feathery? She's just like... She's like... Fine like wine? Mama like it! Um... Yeah, do you have any other questions? You guys can also think about this, because you guys are going to be stuck on this ride for a while. I'll lick her duck. Yeah, let's actually hop over and talk about that, because I like the idea of lick her duck working out. Um... You and X are standing in front of Northland after you kind of yelling at him. Um... And he's just standing there looking at you with his little tree arms and he kind of has his hands up and you're like, this lady disappeared, what the fuck, blah blah blah blah, there's a bunch of people looking at you. And X just told you, like, chill out. This is long before that, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I told you to calm down and then he walked away and then X was like, maybe you should chill. And now you're still there in front of Northland. I don't know if you're seeing any of this. You're like whispering, I can tell. Naturally. That's just like how I talk now. I'm thinking Hayden's voice changed. He just gave you like a little tree shrug and he's like, sometimes people fall off the roof. I'm sure they go somewhere. Oh my god, thank god. Well, thanks for all your help, Northland. Alright, come back if you want a little dragonfly ride. You guys are whispering and walking away and as you turn around, as you turn your shoulder, you fully bump into somebody and they are right there and you bump into this big belly of a person and you look up and you see this fairly, you're tall and they're probably about your height, probably a couple inches on you but you kind of smack into this guy's belly which is preposterously large and you see he is wearing like a nice suit with a vest and he's actually got a pocket watch out and he's looking at it and he looks at you. It's a Taco watch. It's super dope. It's got the Taco Bell logo on the back of it. It's cash as fuck. And he's just steeped out in Taco Bell swag. He's like the ref. Good evening, ma'am. Absolutely. There's no one else around. No, you like bumped into him. Like he disappeared in front of you. Were you one of the ones that noticed him? Then probably not. No. You said good evening, ma'am. He's kind of still holding that watch and he says It appears you're not having a good time. Northwind is already like helping someone else onto a dragonfly. I've never done, so I've never spoken. Don't be concerned for anyone else. It's best you just focus on the competition for this evening. You can see him like wind his pocket watch a little bit as he's talking to you. Are you a competitor? Hardly. I'm Mr. Witch. One of the proprietors of this here Yes, you and Mr. Light are on. Yes, my father, eccentric half. Yeah, that's one way to put it. Quite the clown, if you ask me. Oh, you don't like him? I think he's a little fun. You know, but there are a few out there who like him. I agree. It's best to keep things tight, keep things on task. We are running a competition after all. Giving out wishes ain't easy around here. Not at all. Of course, it's my job to make sure this here carnival runs smoothly. Causing a disturbance disturbing the other guests isn't exactly what I call smooth, would you agree? What's the real definition of smooth? Um, X times anything. They were just, uh, doing the dragonfly and the person fell in. Gee, what good art! This makes perfect sense to me. I was just doing a humanly function. You know, being concerned about another being. You ought to be more focused on winning. If you... Tonight it is, I assure you. Tonight it really is everything. But don't everyone just come on my head now. Why, of course. Do you really want to wait until tomorrow, though? A lot can happen in one night. Actually, you are just the man I wanted to see. We've just met. Yes, I understand that, but I was looking for the proprietor of this amazing attraction. He, like, grabs his, like, overalls or his pants. And he's like, What can one of the proprietors do for someone like you, other than escort you out if you're acting like this? Actually, I would love for that to happen. I actually left something back on my ship and I think it would help me win. And I'd really like to go and get it. We can't have you leaving and cheating. If you're going out, then you're going out. I wouldn't cheat. No, no, no. Nothing like that. It's, um, one of my duties, so... Check the ticket. No readmission. If I can't... If I have to go out, I can't ever come back here, not even just to watch. If you want to come back in, you can get yourself a new ticket. No freezies. As we say out here. No freezies. No freezies on the freebies. And you'll have to... You'll have to compete tomorrow. And the time of tomorrow starts when? Same time every night. Right after sundown. With the sound of the alarm. You were here at the beginning, right? The whole show, the whole welcoming ceremony. Um... Come on, you guys have cross-eyed tickets now. Um... So I can leave, though? You'd let me leave? You can be escorted out. By you? Absolutely. No one leaves or enters this carnival without my say-so. Hmm... Okay. I think we should go grab that baby from the ship. What is the baby? It depends. Is that the rocks that you use when you do the magic? Yes. Is this essential to the magic? Yes. Then we will need two new tickets for us to come back in. But it's buggy. Does this make sense? You said we need readmission, right? Absolutely. You would need to get a new ticket. Hmm... But if I wanted to keep playing, I could just keep playing. And once they have that board, then I could just leave. Go across that bridge from where I came. Well, again, our security's pretty tight. So, Willy-nilly, if you wish to officially withdraw from the competition, then you let me know. When my effect ends, do I get to get in? Your deal? Your deal only works inside of this carnival. It's the price of your admission. What's that about anyway? I'm just so curious. I've never seen an admission like that. Well, it's not really much to, let's say, uh, charge coin to come in here. That doesn't help, uh, that doesn't help fuel the wishes. So the wishes aren't just wishes, then? The wishes are powerful magic, and to get powerful magic, you need to get it from somewhere. So a magical item? Not necessarily. So a lot of people? People are always a great source of magic. You've got magic. Your little tin can's got magic. Not made of tin. Still a metal boy. Well, everyone that enters, they, uh, they make themselves a deal. They give something up a little bit. There's magic in, uh, sacrifice, as it were. You know, a lot easier than taking an arm and a leg. We haven't done that in years. Yeah, it made for the competition less interesting, people hopping around on one leg. A lot harder for folks. I wish I could say the same. Honestly. I... have a question. I want the wish. I want the wish. Is there anything you can give me to help me have the wish? You are Mr. Witch, and you probably know the knowledge of your magic over here. And as a man who has such a high degree of skill, I'm sure you can help me. Yeah, go ahead and roll a persuasion check. I just want you to get out, because I'm going to take a short break. Oh, sorry. Can I just, uh, get out of here? Okay. I can do Guiding for 4 after. Right? I can come over and guide for 4 after my persuasion check. Yeah, I mean, you're still going to cast a whole spell in front of him, but go for it. Okay. Do you cast your spell? 11 plus, um, 4, so 15. Do you roll your d4? What are you going to cast it? Okay, so, 15. 15 says, Well, I do help plan out the evening. Do you promise to keep your attitude to a minimum? Um, sure, yes, sir. Well, alrighty then, I would head right on over to the old Mystery Mine. They've got some stuff going on out there. Good place to start, Fouseyou. Thank you, Mr. Witch. Um, Jake. Grab a staff member if you'll be late. And he kind of turns and he starts to, like, walk away, and you kind of see him, like, start to walk into the crowd, and he just kind of, like, vanishes within the crowd. Not really, uh... It's like that illusion where, like, he steps into the crowd, and you kind of see him for a second, and someone's, like, head goes by, and then he's gone. You guys should kill these guys. Are we heading to Are we heading to the mine? Well, he was not the most pleasant, but he was still here enough. Our sector section has given us nothing. We saw the tree. We saw a person fall in the water and not return. Let us post haste on our Facebook wall. A little posting joke. You guys like that? A little post joke to the Facebook crowd. Yeah, if you guys walk across the old carnival, it doesn't take you too long to get there. You get to this mystery mine, you see this Lorax guy twiddling a little flower. And you see you see Nyali and Mira. You guys are at the back of the line, and you guys have been kind of shuffling along. You're an X walker, but you just see them standing at the back of an empty line. What are you guys doing? Oh. You are supposed to go. Oh, Mira. You point at it and turn around and there's nobody there. You hear like from behind you, and uh... You guys have been waiting in this line for like 20 minutes. What did you say? What did you say? We met the man. He told us to come here. You met Mr. Who? We met the less flame boy. You met the gay one? We met the toxically masculine one. He is a less flame boy. This is far more clues than we have. Wait, we're there. That is our clue. We found it first. We found it first. This is quite clearly a competition. Team Haven 8 will win this thing. Haven 8 for the W. This is good math. In the thick of it. I think we need to split up. I don't think it's very responsible for us to do that. Okay, then you guys can take the mine. We'll go to 15. We were just separated for more than an hour. This is not a man point. It's probably a despicable comment by the way. That was our original plan. But now things have changed. Then you guys go ahead. We already said that. We think that those are the locations of the three prizes. Your unhappiness is ruining I'm not unhappy, I'm just saying maybe it might be better to stay together. Alright, so here's the plan. You guys get in this chain mine and we'll get 15 minutes. Great! If we hadn't come, you guys would just be standing there in the middle of nowhere. We were so close. We just didn't take the prize from them, that's all. We were lost. Yeah, that's why you were standing there all alone. Alright, so you take the mystery mine and we'll do the 15 then. Everybody's happy? Have fun. Alright, we're gonna go to 15 now. Okay. You guys head over there. You see that same You see that same woman who is wearing those Max is behind that mirror. That's what you do because she Max is smiling back there and he's rubbing his ass. Her fart doesn't smell like tour shit, so I don't know. Her fart doesn't really fart like that. He smacks Rip's ass and then goes to smell his ass again. Max will piss and then immediately lick it up to hide it from you guys. If I ever walk upstairs and I scare him and I see him pee, he'll immediately just start licking up the piss. I swear to god. You condition him to be afraid if I clean it up before mom and dad notice. I broke the vase if I clean it up, they won't know. Go buy a new vase before they get home. You guys approach the pixie kingdom, you see that same woman. Why did you say that? This is the most confused look ever. She's holding that same little thing in her hand. It looks like a classic fairy godmother wand. She says, come on in, are we? She says, alright, well go ahead and stand on the table. There's like a miniature carnival and it's like on a picnic table bench and it's telling you to stand on the end of it. You guys stand on it and she looks at you and she starts to wave her wand and you guys start to get really small and you see everything around you. The large buildings and tents of the carnival. You guys are required to do this entire scene sounding like Toad. You guys shrink down and you can now see a carnival that looks not crazy different if not smaller. There's like way less rides and stuff. You see mostly you guys are on the edge of the table. You guys have to physically walk in. As you guys are approaching you see that there are mostly just taxis flying around and flitting about. There are a couple of them that are clearly playing some kind of game. There are a couple of them that are just drinking around a fire. It's basically just like a circle of wagons with a couple of Oregon Trail wagons. There's a bunch of those set up with little vendors and stuff out the back. There are a couple of people like you guys that are walking around in here. Just like looking at stuff. You can roll a perception check. Yeah, you don't notice anyone. I mean yeah, you are here too. That's how that works. You're here too, show up. You're here too. You should also play the game. 16? You see somebody that you kind of like feel like you recognize their face a little bit. But they're not like wearing the get up. Like the Wild Spacer uniform. Yeah, he's sitting around like a campfire singing a song with some other people and like these pixies that are leading the chant. Hey, what's up? I'm from the ascension. He's like singing a song and like drinking as you walk up like an absolute fucking weirdo. Hey, what's up? I'm from the ascension. It's in the Pixie Kingdom Carnival. Yeah. You see there are a lot of like pixies that are like flitting around really fast. They're clearly playing like a game and there are people that are just hanging out drinking and like I said there's a couple of these like little wagon like carts. That's what you guys see now that you're here. You probably get the same thing as her now that she's pointed them out to you. You're just like I feel like I've seen this motherfucker. No, he's singing a song. Just walked up and interrupted this guy's jam sesh with the pixie homies. No, you don't even recognize him barely. Yeah, like you're like I've seen this motherfucker. Not like that's John, you know. Not like that's John. With the 13 you're not like that's Tony. He graduated two years ago. Sure, dude. I'll let you roll for it. Beat a 27. No, I'm just joking. Crit. No, let's do it. You can crit. Okay. 15. Plus one gets you a 15, huh? Or maybe like what squad I've seen him with? With a 15 I think you definitely know this is somebody that you feel like you either took a class with or took a class like they were teaching you. With a 15 you're only placing them in one of your Wildspacer classes. I mean they're all Wildspacers or at least they were at some point. It's like grad students. It's just like, yo, I don't want to be here, but like I get better missions if I teach you dweebs, you know. Curly gives me the good stuff for my hours. Does he look my age? Maybe a little. A little older. What does he do when she totally interrupts? Doesn't acknowledge. He's singing and kind of like looks at you. He's a jolly good fellow. He's a jolly good fellow. I try to I try to I try to get his I try to get his attention I just try to get him on site and like flash the Wildspacer symbol and like call it out. He's like oh hey I'm trying to jam guys, what's up? Oh, we're not trying to stop you from jamming, we just saw that you're also pretty sexy. Yeah, yeah. How long have you been here? We just got here. Yeah, I just got here a couple nights ago. What's up? You got any cool spots for us? We're trying to hit all the rides. Yeah, this is Pixie Kingdom. This is where we rock out. Oh really? Yeah. Is this where you spend most of your time then? Yeah, it's so fun here. We just like drink and sing and play tag. Oh shoot. That's so cool. Have you seen any of the Wildspacers? Just the boys. Just the crew. What squad are they in? Silver squad. Oh, shoot. Do I recognize that squad? You can roll a history check. Crit! You quit your channel. Sorry, Pippin. She just pees in your lap. You did crit. Verify crit. Oh man, this is gonna be fun. Um... It says Silver squad and you immediately recognize it because you guys were just briefed on this. Silver squad went missing about a year ago. Oh shoot. That's some stuff. Let him chill out here. Missing? Like, did nobody came back from your squad? No one came back from their squad. They were a part of the briefing on the other squads of Wildspacers that are missing. Hmm. And you immediately know they are one of the first squads that went missing here. This is like that moment in the TV show. Blah blah blah blah. Let me get my bom bom bom bom music track ready. Would that help me place if he was a student or a teacher? I think when he says that, you probably realize that this guy might have like taught a class for you guys like a while ago or have been like a TA like back when you guys were like I mean a year ago you guys have still been doing missions for like a couple months so it would have been one of your like senior classes. Silver squad. He's like, yeah. Did you teach the Wildspacers guys? Yeah, yeah I helped I had one of the best times for the gauntlet so like I would just show up and show them how it's done. Oh my gosh, I think I took a class from you. Oh yeah, probably. Anyway, I'm going to get back to my song. Oh great. What's up? What's up? What do you need? Do you have plans for the rest of your squad? I mean they're probably hanging out. I don't know if they're hanging out in Tixieville like me because they've got bad taste. When was the last time you saw them? I don't know, probably earlier tonight. We all hit the... You're not getting anything out of this. We all hit the mystery mine earlier, you know, took it for a loop. You know, it's always fun. You can get lost in there if you're not careful. Have you competed at all? Yeah, I tried to compete my first night, didn't really get too far. You haven't done one of them before? Nah, none of my boys. Not really. Well, I actually heard that they might be in Tixieville. He looks at you and he's like, shut up. For real. Get out right now. For real, I'm serious. For real? Yeah. That's crazy. We're not really supposed to be talking to other people here but you're welcome, I know you're cool. Yeah, we're all cool with each other. Where's the item? I don't know, we were just talking. You know it's here though? Yeah. For sure. Do you know your way around? Yeah, there's like a dozen wagons. Would you want to help us? I mean, let's start looking. Do you know anything about this item? You know, it's totally uninteresting than I thought. No. I've never been to Pixie Kingdom. Is it big here? I mean, nothing's big here if you really think about it. Oh, that's a good one. Tony. Nah, I think we've had like 12 Tonys in this campaign. Let's do something crazy. Let's have him be Romeo. How does he say Romeo? Tony Romeo. Oh, it's because it's Tony Romeo. Tony Romeo. He can be Romo or Romeo. Bad name, whatever. It's Romeo, Romo. More flamboyant brother. Romeo, Romo. Romeo, right? Yep, first name, Romeo, sober squad. Oh, really? Yeah. If you could help us actually, that would be awesome. Yeah, so this item, which one is it? So, He's like, oh, okay. And those are the items tonight? That checks out on a lot of us. Yeah, that's good. No, I was just hanging out, singing songs and then you guys came up to me and now I'm in though. Absolutely. I don't recognize you. Yeah, the signature loops was my move on the gauntlet. Yeah. Nobody threw loops like me on the triple dunk slide. You know. That's what I'm saying. I can hear it now. So where's the item? You guys take my seat and I'll look for the item. Nope. You guys watch my back, I'll find the item. Does that sound good? Like you guys can sit here and just like make sure nobody else is looking for the item while I look for the item. That's way less fun, but if that's the best we're going to do, okay. Okay, I probably don't need it, but thanks. I do the loops, remember? It's me. I'm the guy. Alright, let's do it. Okay. He's like, let's go make sure to not interrupt their tag game, they do get pissed. Right. If you want to play, just like I played a couple times, they go hard. Right, and Romeo, we're running out of time here, so like if you could try to do the fastest route, I know you're good at that. I mean, there's like 12 wagons, and that's pretty much most of it. So, I say we gotta start looking at wagons. Let's go to the nearest one. Alright, that's that one, and he points to the nearest wagon. Good lead. They look like Oregon Trail wagons, but they all have like different things like painted on the side of them, like different locations. Are they all moving around and stuff? No, they are like set up in like a circle, like around this big fire pit in the middle. And you can see, there are like a couple other small tents that are kind of set up, but you mostly just see people, there are a ton of pixies flying around really fast. You see some that are like chasing others, and then you see one get tagged, and then he starts chasing the other ones. Alright. Yeah, we're gonna follow this guy to that wagon. Check it out. Okay, he gets to the wagon, he's like, okay, watch my back. Okay. He just like runs up, does a gainer into the fucking just way too cool gainers into the back of the wagon. Just like a loud thunk. And he's like, don't see any, what am I looking for again? Most likely the golden wings, but I don't see the unicorn wings. Okay, um, there's just a bunch of junk in here. Uh, uh, he's doing that like comical thing where he's like throwing things out. You just see like a trumpet fly by. You see a chair. You see a MacBook Pro. Yeah, you see just like random stuff flying out. Any good junk from you? Nothing, uh, nothing that's like a golden wing. Alright. He's like in there like rooting around. I don't see, I don't see anything in here. Just, uh, just a bunch of trash. How's my back looking? All clear, Romeo. Your laptop sucks. Let's move on. Okay, he just like jumps back out in like a triple twist. Yeah. He's seeming dexterous as fuck. And uh, you guys just go over to the next wagon? Yep. Okay. He jumps in there and he's like, I don't see anything in here, guys. And he's just like rooting around. What else is in the carnival? Other than these like wagons. Um, in here it's mostly, you guys are in this like miniature carnival. It seems like a bunch of pixies just kicking it in here. There are, there are, what? Not really. It's really just these wagons and they're like playing games and they're hanging out. Like, everyone's just like relaxing. Most people are just like playing tags. You see people like playing cards. They're just playing like low-key games. I think we're just going to hit all of these wagons. A couple folks doing charades. Let's hit all of these wagons. Okay. You guys probably get to the first like three wagons kind of starting from the front. Um, at a certain point he gainers into the third wagon and then he goes, uh, whoops, uh, didn't mean to interrupt. Uh, I did not want to see that. Uh. And then he's here like, like yelling. Um, and then you guys see, you guys see Romeo, uh, like float out of the back and there's like, there's like four pixies, uh, carrying him, um, like just by his limbs. He's like, uh, uh, what's up? Uh, where, where are you guys going? Um, what's going on? And you see like, he's like, like just like them like, like zipping back and forth at each other. And, um, yeah, they fly him and then they, they go ahead and just drop him in that big fire pit in the middle. And, uh, he kind of just catches on fire and then all the pixies are like, I'm gonna do something if they, if I see them. And he's like, he like starts to catch on fire and he's like, uh, uh, uh. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Bonfire? The pixies threw him in the fireplace. Okay, hang on. It's a big like, uh, bonfire. If they were heading over in that direction and literally hovering over the fire, um, I would run over there and then as soon as they drop him, I'm gonna catch title with. Okay, he's like, starts to like scream and you send this title wave forward. You're gonna hit these fucking pixies. I'm just trying to put out the fire. Okay. I can make it as big or as small as I want. I just want it big enough to hit. There are like, this fire is surrounded by these pixies and the people in here if you want to do this. Yeah, I'll do it. Okay. You go ahead and cast this title wave, um, at this fire and Romeo is extinguished, uh, with some, with some burns and this, uh, this fire goes out. Um, and it gets like really dark. Like, super dark. Um, as you guys, um, do you guys like go over to Romeo or anything? Yeah, I mean, I was like, I ran over to the fire just enough to cast this stuff. Right. Um, yeah, you, this wave puts out the fire, extinguishes him, catches some pixies that like like they like tumble away into the water. Yeah, I'll run up to Romeo. Um, Romeo, are you, are you hurt? Oh, man. Ugh. That sucked. Yeah. I saved your life. Yeah, I walked in on them having too good a time there. Are you hurt? I see some burns on you. Yeah, I should be alright. You got that magic sauce. You got any juice for me? Okay, you see his burns, uh, recede. Um. He looks at you and he's like, I don't know. He like looks around and he like looks and he's like, Wait, where? Where are they? What the fuck is that? Um, okay, Romeo. I take his hand and I like walk him away from the pixies. Uh, and I think we're just standing like uh. These like, there's like embers on the ground that are glowing a little bit and it's like you guys can barely see each other. You put the fire pit out and like the ambient light and other torches and everything in here all went out. Even with the, even with that vision or is it a magical vision? Uh, you can see like the light grayness around here but it is like black now. Um, cool. I just kind of walk over so that we're kind of hidden behind like one of these wagons. So you guys are right in the middle right now as you're picking him up. You're trying to like pull him to the side. Okay. Just to get away from him. Okay. You guys run, you guys are walking over there um, and you both feel like like something really small and really fast like fly by and it'll just like, you just feel it like hit you like really fast and like bounce off. Um, and you guys are just kind of like walking through the, like through the darkness. Um. I think I'm gonna try to jump into the first wagon. Okay. Can we? Yeah. You good with that? I'll follow you, yeah. Okay. You're like boost Romeo up in there. Jump in there. Yeah. You uh, you guys all climb up in there and kind of the same deal. You guys can see there's just like a bunch of junk in here. There's a bunch of like, just stuff piled up in here. And Romeo seems like, wait what the fuck? What am I wearing? What is it? Is he wearing his outfit? No, not at all. He's wearing like some elaborate like, he's wearing some like elaborate like carnival outfit or something. Okay, Romeo is gonna be a lot. Uh, do you remember coming to the carnival? Uh, like a year ago? Yeah, he goes right now. Wait, a year ago? What? I just got here. What? I'm sorry, Romeo, but uh you're part of this group of boys. Yeah, yeah, where are the boys? Um, we haven't met any of them yet. We haven't met any of them yet, but um. Where's Chip? And Chuck? And Bratwurst? You've been gone for a year, Romeo. You've been under some kind of curse, or some kind of enchantment. He's like, what? No. He's like freak out a little bit, and he's like freaking out. He's like, no, no, no, this is fucked up. And he starts to like pull the flag. He's like getting out of the wagon. Romeo, wait, it's not safe out there. No, no, no, come on. This is fucked up, guys. Romeo, we're here. Come on, Romeo. He says, no, fuck you guys. Romeo, we're here to save you. He goes outside and these guys are like yelling at him, and he's like, fuck off, guys. I'm gonna, I'm gonna figure out a score. I gotta find my boys. I mean, you guys can try to like stop him as he's like pulling back. Okay, we can do an athletics challenge here. Um, I'm gonna pretend this guy has a plus three. That's a fifteen. Um, um, probably doesn't make sense for a plus three flip, but sure. Um, um, yeah, you are able to like grapple him to the sense that like he can't move anymore, maybe not fully restrain him, but you have stopped him. He's like looking at you, he's like, what are you, what's wrong? Listen, we're part of the wild spaces. We're here to save you. You guys are like arguing about this, and seemingly from like every direction around you, like outside the wagon, you guys just hear like, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me,
