I hope you are all doing well. So, let's call this episode zero, when I said things from zero and then one, two, and so on. In this episode, I want to introduce myself as hot. The people say, if you didn't know, you don't love it, right? Okay, let me introduce myself. My name is Octavia Newland, and I'm from the Philippines. Currently, I am fine at my degree program, and I'm majoring in English. You might wonder, is my qualification for engineering? Well, the answer is no, right? There are still several other departments now related to engineering, and one of them is English. A little story about my life today, I work in the social side, and I teach English at my admitted class. Home for three years, three years. I studied two English subjects, one was military, and the other was admitted English class. I didn't enjoy the admitted English class, because the teacher's voice was unclear, and I didn't understand. Do you know that during class, I used to draw to stay awake? Just imagine, three hours of listening to the teacher in front of the class. I'm certain I didn't mean to be a difficult course student, but I was easily defeated at the time. Okay, let's continue. Actually, I wasn't interested in answering the English department again. Initially, I just tried it, but finally passed. It was confusing whether to reject or hate me, considering I used to draw during school classes in high school. You know that my high school friends didn't believe that I could pass in the English department. But, now, after three years, it's not as scary as it sounds, guys. For those of you who might think of visiting on your dreams, and then feel lazy during college. No, guys, no. I'm still anxious about going through my studies, especially when the friends you make over there are more dangerous. Now, let's discuss what subjects we have in the English department. During my time in this department, I have studied speaking, listening, reading, writing, translation, communication skills, digital media, and much more. But, so far, there has not been a subject related to numbers. My favorite subject is translation. Why? Because it really benefits us to become translation experts. Actually, the lecture for this subject is strict and strictly English. In a strict language, we call it a cure. But, finally, we underwent new research. So, for those of you who want to enter the English department during the Fridays, of course, there are some challenges, like language adjustment, if you want to finally finish all your studies. But, don't worry, guys, there are solutions to everything, and everything can be fixed naturally. And don't feel burdened by the difficulty of learning English. You just need to go through it, keep trying, and don't forget to try it, too. Well, that's it for today's podcast. Thank you for listening to the All-Kia Podcast today.
