The podcast called "Listen and Vibe" by Vivian Venturia emphasizes the importance of mental health and how music can help people find happiness and escape from everyday stress. The podcast features discussions with college students about their views on music and its impact on well-being. Various sources are cited to support the idea that music can reduce depressive symptoms, evoke different emotions, and heal emotional wounds. The podcast also includes ads promoting Spotify Premium and Apple Music. Guest speakers share their love for music, how it makes them feel, and how it helps them cope with stress. Overall, the podcast aims to promote the positive effects of music on mental health and well-being. Hello, lovely people. I'd like to introduce you to my podcast called Listen and Vibe by Vivian Venturia. Thank you for tuning in today. So, the central theme of my podcast is to stress the importance of mental health and how music helps people get in touch with their true happiness. Music can be used as a type of escapism from our stressful everyday lives. I want to address the point that music should be brought into everyone's lives to help relieve that everyday anxiety and stress. We are college students and we encounter stress all the time. Listening to the kind of music you like can help bring up your entire mood. The individual podcasters that are going to be mentioned in my podcast are myself and random college students around campus who tell me their point of view on music and how it makes them feel. So, I'd like to first cite my first source by George Musgrave and his source is called Music and Well-Being vs. Musicians' Well-Being, Examining the Paradox of Music-Making Positively Impacting Well-Being but Musicians Suffering from Poor Mental Health. It's a really long title but it's fun. In this article, he shares different perspectives on music and well-being. To quote, he says, listening to music can reduce depressive symptoms, particularly amongst older adults. So, this relates to us since we are older adults since we are in college. This article would be effective since it shows how a majority of college students should listen to music since it improves their overall well-being and it's an escape from reality and to overall get in touch with their happiness. So, basically this podcast's sole purpose is to bring good vibes and address how listening to music you like can help improve the way you view your life and help you break free from everyday problems that come your way. And, to quote from another source, from Linda Chaplin at Airhorn, I'm sorry, her name is really weird, Music and Mood, a continuing series relating to our mental health. And, this article impacts how, I mean, this article shows how music impacts the overall well-being of one's mental health and the positive effects it brings such as different emotions, memory, and health in general. Listening to these different types of music can help trigger different emotions within our memory in music therapy. It's becoming more and more used to help people cope with their emotions and get in touch with their inner happiness. And, this would be beneficial since it helps prove my point that music should be used in everyone's lives and it will benefit everyone's well-being. So, basically I'd also like to add on to that with this source from David Victor that explains how music helps people heal. So, he quotes how music is able to touch our souls and how it is used as a stress relief and heals emotional wounds in general. And, being able to listen and feel uplifted and to sing along, and especially sing along music such as, you know, Party in the USA or something, I feel like a lot of people can like, it brings people's mood and well-being. And, as stated before, music can also be used as a therapy since it allows you to face difficult times in your life and also used as a type of escape from reality. So, I'm going to take a short break right now because I've been yapping for about five minutes now. So, quick little ad break. The features you are missing are waiting for you. We have similar songs that we like, but yeah, we have a similar type of music. That's very cute. So, I'd like to also ask, does music help you cope with your emotions? Yeah, definitely. I think, depending on the type of mood I'm in, I'll put on, like, I'm sad, I'll do a sad song, or like, I'm happy, I'll do, like, a happy song, or I'm trying to get out of the sad mood, I'll do a happy song.
